Please make sure that you are completing scholarship
applications. Do not wait until the last minutes. Here is a list of
scholarship deadlines.
April 15th – Knights of Columbus – Mark Goodman
United Methodist
Ness City Booster Club
Brown Scholarship
April 18th – Murdock Scholarship
April 20th – Ness City Rotary
April 30th – P.E.O.
May 1st – Ness County Conservation
In addition to completing scholarships, seniors should make sure that they have completed and sent in their housing applications and deposits to the school they will be attending next fall.
Most high school parents know that their students have filled out pre-enrollment forms for next year. These forms are being used to make a master schedule. Once the master schedule is completed, I will meet with each student to finish the pre-enrollment process. Hopefully these meetings will begin next week.
Ness City Elementary and Jr./Sr. High School students have
completed the Reading and Mathematics portion of the State
Assessments. Now the elementary, junior high, and high school will
take CTBS tests and complete the Science and Social Science
portions of the State Assessments.
April 10, 11 – 7-11 CTBS
April 15-18 – 4th science, 6th social science
April 21-25 – sophomore, junior science
K-6 CTBS
April 22, 23 – 7th science
April 30, May 1 – 8th, junior social science
