Sydney Whipple

The Quiet Girl

by Lindsay Rolo

May 16, 2008

This girl is known for the beautiful dance routines that she practiced on during lunch break in the auditorium. She also loves hanging out with her friends and family.     Yep, you guessed it. Sydney Whipple is this fun-loving girl I'm talking about.  Fun-loving or not, she plans to further her education at Dodge City Community College.

Her most memorable moment in high school is when she rolled her vehicle driving home from a volleyball tournament. If Sydney could change one thing about high school, you might think it would be that incident, but no; it would be having a longer lunch hour. She thinks she has done very well in all of her classes; therefore, she believes that she wouldn't have needed much advice for high school.

When asked if there was anything she has done that her parents haven't found out about she replied by saying, "I think I should probably keep that to myself. That is something I never want my parents to find out about!" Even though she wants to keep that a secret from her parents, Sydney's role models are her parents. The reason for that is, over the years, they have taught her that she can achieve anything she sets her mind to.

Right before prom,  you probably saw this girl making your corsages and boutonnieres at Designs By Melinda. This is where Sydney makes all her money to go out and spend on gas for her new car. Most weekends, if you are out and about, you will probably see her driving around. The one person Sydney will miss the most when she leaves for college is Morgan Smith. These girls are always driving around together.

If Sydney could be any kind of cereal, she would like to be Cinnamon Crisp. She doesn't know why, it's just what she would be. Crispy or not, Sydney's most embarrassing moment in high school was when she tripped over something and fell face first into the ground! The worst part about it was that everyone was watching her!!!
