A few of Weston's senior pictures.

Here's What's Happening in the life of Weston Vogel!

Student body president!

by Katie Delaney

December 17, 2009

Weston has participated in KAYS, STUCO, FCCLA, National Honor Society, FFA, basketball, and golf. Weston is currently the student body president and when doing the morning announcements after first hour every morning he quotes Sportscenter Right Now with his famous line "This is Weston Vogel and here's what's happening in Ness City right now".

Weston Vogel, son of Blaine and Cindy Vogel, is a senior here at Ness City High. Weston has attended school here since he was a tiny little tot in kindergarten. Although he is not much taller now, he has come a long way. In his future Weston would like to go to school at Fort Hays State University and major in Accounting.

This year Weston has a pretty easy schedule. He says that some classes in high school are a breeze but others can be quite a challenge. Advanced Biology is his favorite class because Mrs. McNinch always has a “dumb joke”, and his hardest class is calculus because it is over ITV.  His best high school memory was winning regional golf. In school he enjoys hanging out with Clayton Johnson and Erik Ellis, and if Weston was stranded on an island he would chose to be with Gage Kepple, Dustin Foster and Clayton Johnson.

In his free time Weston likes to golf and he enjoys spending time on the farm riding his horse. He likes to listen to country music and feels most comfortable in his blue jeans and a t-shirt. Weston enjoys watching Family Guy, Sports Center, and Two and a Half Men. Weston's hero is Derek Jeter because he knew what he wanted to do from the age of six and has accomplished every goal he set along the way. His family inspires him most because they have led successful lives and push him to do the same.

Weston's advise to the upcoming seniors is  "just because you are seniors doesn't mean that you don't have to work, because you do".

Heres whats happening in Weston Vogels life!
