Senior Art Projects

Every year in Mrs. MacIntosh's art class, the seniors do an art project where they paint their name and year graduated somewhere in the art room. The art project consists of the seniors going online or looking in art books for some sort of "theme" they would like to paint on walls, doors, or the ceiling. In previous years seniors did the same, most of them painted a ceiling tile. A few decorated the walls and doors.
Mrs. MacIntosh says, "It's their choice of what they would like do."
Many of the ones I've seen are based on abstract views or outside ideas. Although the seniors won't be painting their projects until the beginning or middle of April, she wants them to be ready with their ideas when the time comes so they "...don't waste time with getting it done," said Mrs. MacIntosh.
The seniors are excited and ready to graduate and would like to leave their marks via the art room.
