McDonald's Awarding Grants!

Applications for the McDonald's Classroom Grant are now available. Teachers from preschool to 12th grade are eligible to apply for grant money. This program started 22 years ago has now awarded over $110,000. This year more than $5,000 in grants will be awarded by McDonald's Restaurants in Hays, Russell, WaKeeney and Colby. Fifteen northwest Kansas counties will be awarded grants for their 2010-11 school year. Teachers in the following counties may apply: Ellis, Graham, Gove, Lincoln, Logan, Ness, Osborne, Phillips, Rawlins, Rooks, Rush, Russell, Sheridan, Thomas and Trego. Grant applications have been mailed to all schools in those counties. You may also download the applications online at the following websites.
