MR. KEMPKE!

Newton Before Thanksgiving

by Zach Hoss

August 26, 2010

The Ness City School District has hired several new teachers this year. One of them is Mr. Kempke. Before starting his career, Mr. Kempke attended and graduated from Fort Hays State University. Before coming to NCHS, he taught a total of twenty-eight years at Larned Youth Center and Claflin. The classes he teaches consist of Physics, General Science, Junior High Science, and Weights. He is also the Assistant Football Coach for the Ness City Eagles.

As far as family goes, he's married, has a son attending FHSU, and a daughter who's a sophomore at Claflin High School. In his free time, Mr. Kempke enjoys playing softball, going fishing, reading, and playing tunes on his kazoo.

Some goals of his include getting to know some of the local residents and being in Newton before Thanksgiving. He told us to figure out what this means....and we need your help because we're clueless!
