Do You Know Your Geography?

On January 4, select students from grades four through eight competed in the Geography Bee in the Ness City High School auditorium. This year's winner was fourth grader Ryan Gabel. Ryan will take a written test to see whether or not he will be able to compete in the State Geography Bee. The top 100 students, based on the test scores, will compete in the State Geography where the winner will have to take a test to qualify for the National Geography Bee. The top three winners of the National Geography Bee will receive college scholarships.
