NCHS FAMILY LOSES VALUED TEACHER

April 14, 2014

USD 303 lost a great teacher earlier this month.  Rosabel Flax had been diagnosed with cancer the first of the year.  Ms. Flax lost her brief fight on March 5th

Rosabel came to Ness City at the beginning of the 2004 fall term.  She faithfully taught math and science classes during her tenure here.  During her forty-one and a half year career she had also taught in Marquette, St. Joseph’s-Shawnee, Herndon, Palco, Plainville, and LaCrosse.

Additionally, she taught college classes for Colby Community College and Cloud County Community College.  Having her administrative license, she served as principal in Plainville, Little River, and Moundridge.

Ness City schools would like to thank Ms. Flax for her dedication to all the students whose lives she has touched over the course of her career.  She will be vastly missed.
