Maintenance Person
This position is responsible for keeping the Physical Plant of all school buildings in good operating condition. Work included can include but is not limited to: General plumbing, General electrical, General HVAC operation and upkeep, Competition Field upkeep, Facilities setup (games, meetings, events), Working with contractors (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC), General repair of facilities, Temporary repair of facilities, etc. Pay and Responsibilities will be commensurate with experience and abilities. This is a full time, year round job with Health Insurance, Vacation, and Time off benefits.
Custodial Person (Ness City Jr/Sr High School)
This position is responsible for the general janitorial duties at Ness City Jr/Sr High School. This is a full time, year around position with health insurance, vacation, and other time off benefits.
District Wide Custodial Person
This position is responsible for general janitorial duties at the USD 303 District Office, Pre-School Building, VoAg building, and USD 303 athletic facilities. Additional duties include helping building custodians when needed. This is a full time, year around position with health insurance, vacation, and other time off benefits.
Jr/Sr High School Secretary
This position is responsible for running the office at the Jr/Sr High School. Duties include but are not limited to answering phones, taking/delivering messages, general accounting, Powerschool updates, general nursing when nurse is unavailable, lunch count, and many other duties. This is a full time position with health insurance and time off benefits. This can be an 11 month or 12 month position depending on desire of applicant.
Para-Professionals - USD 303 is looking for individuals interesting in working as a regular education or special education para-professional. These positions work with teachers to help meet the individual needs of students in the classroom, small groups, and one-on-one. Makes for a great job for a parent that is wanting a similar schedule as their children, a retired person looking for extra income, or an individual that is interested in exploring the teaching profession and is wanting some experience.
Sub - Custodian - USD 303 is looking for individual(s) interested in working in our Maintenance/Custodial department. Candidates will be responsible for the daily cleaning and functioning of the physical plants of the District. For the right candidates, position could be full or part time.
Substitute/Activity Bus Drivers - USD 303 is looking for individuals who are able to drive a school bus on an occasional basis or in an emergency. We occasionally need help to cover daily bus routes and activity routes. Candidates do not need to have a current CDL, but we would help with the training process for the right candidates to obtain a CDL.
Substitute Teachers - USD 303 is looking for Substitute Teachers. Candidates need to have a current Teaching License or an Emergency Sub Licence through the State of Kansas. Hourly rate of pay for Teacher Substitutes is $19.07.
