The Fort Hays State Art Show was a remarkable gathering of creativity and talent, with 70 schools and 1200 students coming together to celebrate the arts. The event was a showcase of artistic prowess, with Fort Hays State students clinching an impressive 22 awards across various categories. With a senior student, Peityn Beckman, bringing home 7 of those awards. Additionally, four students, Summer, Rilan, Karina and Peityn, showcased their skills in a captivating sidewalk chalk competition, adding a vibrant and interactive element to the show. The atmosphere was electric, buzzing with artistic energy and a sense of camaraderie among participants.
