Brent Kerr spent 18 years in industrial art. Then, in 2020, he earned a master's degree in business leadership; he wasn't sure he'd go through with it because Ness is home, but when it was optional for elementary principal, he wanted to give it a shot. He was born and raised in Ness City and loves being involved in the community. His parents had a farm growing up, where they raised cattle, grew wheat, and raised Milo. Now he has his own small farm with a small red Angus cow herd. His wife's name is Jean Brett, and he has four kids: Jantea, Peyton, Carver, and Spencer Kerr. If he's not at school, he likes to be at the farm, spending time with family.
Mr. Kerr is a great principal who is loved by many students and teachers. We're excited to see where he is going to lead our elementary school next.
