Scholar's Bowl is State Bound

Saturday February 10th Frankfort, KS will be hosting Kansas State Scholar’s Bowl Class 1A D1. Twelve teams will compete for this state title including representatives from Ness City High School. Wyatt Sutton, Chris Luciano, Jorge Esparza, Hunter Stenzel and Thane Brenner along with Coach Lyn Bernbeck are excited for this opportunity.

Overall, this team exceeded expectations. Three experienced players returned to help dominate, medaling in 6 varsity competitions with a lot of those wins coming against larger schools.

“I am really proud of the guys. Everyone contributes; we are very well rounded. Each person has their own categories, their expertise. This is a team effort--100%.” said Coach Bernbeck.
