Fort Hays Art Show
April 17th Ms. Hemel’s art students will be taking their talents to Fort Hays State University.
After setting up their projects, students will break into two groups. One group (Peityn, Summer, Rilan, Karina, and Charles) will compete in a sidewalk chalk competition. The other group will visit the art building to observe some different artistic techniques. A t-shirt printing booth where the students can bring a blank t-shirt and have a design imprinted for $10. Gelli print (which resembles wood block or etching skills) uses a “plate made of gel” to construct and transfer a print (picture) onto paper. Graphic Designer Fort Hays students will also have their final projects on display.
Students attending Peityn, Kaleb, Rilan, Karina, Cruz, Elainna, Riya, Enzo, Summer, Charlie, and Charles.

Next competition for the art students will be April 24th at St. John’s for the league art show!
