Ness City Science Summer Camp Opportunity
Details: This camp aims to boost student interest in STEM fields, including Computer Science, Aerospace, and Artificial Intelligence/Robotics. The Camp is funded by a U.S. Department of Defense grant, Learning, Exploration, and Application for Prospective Engineering Students (LEAPES). The camp is open to students currently in grades 5-8. It will take place in a hybrid format (in person and online), with Zooms coming from K-State to Ness City, where students work on engaging projects with the guidance of Mr. Klozenbucher and K-State Instructors. The camp will be split into 3, week-long sections covering the following topics: computer science, artificial intelligence and robotics, and aerospace and drones. Camp time is 9:00 am to noon
Week 1 - Computer Science (June 3-6)
Week 2 - Artificial Intelligence/Robotics (June 10-13)
Week 3 - Drones/Unmanned Aerial Systems (June 17-21)
