Scholars Bowl Results 11/17
"Monday at Ellis = 1st place out of 8 teams. Many of them 2A. Norton was the only one to beat us, and that was in a tiebreaker. We bounced back so well that we trounced Hill City a little too much. We quickly buzzed through the first 13 questions, getting 10 correct answers. A Hill City girl commented that instead of saying, "Hey, Siri..." for an answer, people should just say, "Hey, Ness City..." It made everyone laugh, and they ended up getting 20 points on the board." Ms.Bernbeck said.
"Today (11/18), we head to Leoti. Wichita County always puts on a difficult tournament, and we will be going without Hunter. We are a team. We don't rely on one person; everyone is important. Hunter will be missed today." She also added.
Ms.Bernbeck's encouragement and dedication to the team do not go unnoticed. Thank you for everything you do, and awesome job to the Scholars Bowl team!
