Seniors Government Day

The Senior Government class attended Government Day at the Ness County Courthouse on April 21. The day started in the courtroom, where the students learned a little about what happens in each county office. They then toured the courthouse and the sheriff's office, where they learned more details about the services each office provides. After eating lunch, provided by the American Legion Auxiliary, they heard from the county attorney and then watched the afternoon court proceedings, presided over by District Judge Gatterman.
