Fourth Grade Wax Museum
March 20, 2024
The fourth grade students have been studying “American Heroes”. They were given the opportunity to choose an “American Hero” they were interested in learning more about. Once they chose their “American Hero”, they began research. All of the students worked very hard to gather information.
When the research was complete, they wrote a detailed biography about the person's life that included information from early life to later life.
Next, came the fun part! They got to dress up as their chosen “American Hero”! Students put together costumes to match the description of their character. They rehearsed and memorized scripts of what to say during the Wax Museum for family and friends who came to visit. We had a great turn out!
Fourth grade teacher Mrs. Pfannenstiel was “very proud of this 4th grade class. They put a ton of effort into every aspect of this project and they worked together to help each other successfully play their role. Thank you to the elementary teachers who took the time out of their day to come to our rehearsal and thank you to the parents, grandparents, family members, and friends who came to visit our Wax Museum!”
