JH Promotion and Awards

This Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m., Ness City Junior High School will host our annual 8th grade Promotion/JH Awards Program in the HS auditorium.
Seventh and eighth grade students, following the school picnic Wednesday, will have a short practice in the auditorium from 12:15-12:45 for the awards and promotion ceremony. Eighth graders may bring a change of clothes as they will be given ample time to prepare themselves for the promotion ceremony. Of course, they are welcome to come to school that morning dressed for the occasion if they so choose also. There is no requirement for a "formal dress code" for 8th grade promotional purposes, however from past experiences, the students have generally dressed in business casual attire.
All 8th graders will be formally checked out from school Wednesday afternoon. So their summer vacation will begin after the awards and promotion ceremony. With the league track meet on Thursday, I will also check out the JH track students Wednesday afternoon.
