Will Childers has signed a letter of intent for cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track for Kansas Wesleyan.
“I visited the campus over the summer and immediately knew it was the right place for me. The coaches are fantastic! Coach Young has a lot of excitement for this sport and this college.”
According to Will there will be new challenges at the college level. “Just on Kansas Wesleyan’s cross country team alone, there will be forty guys (freshmen to senior)! And the distance that college kids run is 8K–right under 5 miles! In high school we ran a 5K."
